INT. Taurus Express dining car - DAY

The passengers are sitting around the dining car in a solemn and depressing atmosphere. Mrs. Hubbard looked around, her eyes firm, with a touch of sadness.

Mrs. Hubbard: I know you're all feeling mixed feelings at the moment. We experienced a murder and ended a sinful life with our own hands.

Ratchett sat at the table, his face bloodless, with a knife in his chest. Poirot stood beside him, frowning.

Poirot (heavily) : This was a well-planned murder by a man who had a great hatred for Mr. Ratchett.

Dr. Constantine (taking off his glasses, wearily) : I have examined the body, and Mr. Ratchett was killed by a sharp blade through the heart, a single blow.

McQuinn clenched his fist and his eyes were full of anger and pain.

Mike Quinn: He deserved it! Ratchett! No, Cassetti, he's a monster! He destroyed the Armstrongs!

Andre and Pierre Michel, father and son, bowed their heads and said nothing.

Mrs. Hubbard: I know people are wondering who killed Cassetti. But what I'm trying to say is, we're all part of this murder.

The passengers looked up at each other in shock.

Arsnor (trembling voice) : You, what do you mean?

Mrs. Hubbard: Remember that night we were in Istanbul? We made a deal to get justice for the Armstrongs, to make Cassetti pay for his crimes.

Mary Derbeyan covered her mouth and tears came to her eyes.

Mary Debehan: We, we just want justice!

Mrs. Hubbard (firmly) : Yes, we just want justice! Cassetti has committed a heinous crime, and the law cannot punish him, so we have no choice but to do it ourselves!

The other passengers were silent as they recalled the promise of that night, with struggle and pain written all over their faces.

Mrs. Hubbard: I know it's hard, but we have to stick together. For the Armstrong family's sake, and our own, we must keep this a secret!
